Cyclecide

Honestly, sir, that patch of ground just jumped out in front of me!
Owie.
Pray for my bike. It's currently in traction, having attempted suicide(with me on it!), once realizing it cannot match the magesty of my last bike. You know, the one I got stolen. The one worth over a thousand dollars.
Sigh.
While repairable, I would LOVE to know what the hell happened. I was returning from a meeting(more on that in a moment), when, going downhill, and going very fast, my back wheel just locked up.
Tighter then a nun with rictus.
This flipped my bike right over. I slid a good 10 feet. It's amazing I didn't break anything. Also amazing is that an old man who saw it happen JUST WALKED BY WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. That's right, out of three people who saw this, the old man just looked at me, the guy on the bike said "you bent your rim", and a 3rd guy actually asked me if I was all right.
I was about 2 miles from home. I walked it. Why? I don't know the bus schedule. I don't have the monies to waste finding out.
The good news is that I had gone to find out if my insurance situation could be improved. It could. And it was. Huzzah.
And now, I wait for the bike to recover on it's own.
Stupid inanimate object.
Owie
